Every Sunday at 10:30 I take you along the hotspots of the city of Groningen. along the nicest shops, the finest cafes and restaurants.
Groningen has many unique and independent shops and stores with a completely unique range.
This route is in collaboration with Lutje Lokaal
Starts and ends at Wadapartja (location Westerhaven/Pottebakkersrijge).
Beer & culture walk
Did you know that Groningen has a unique beer culture? In the past, we counted 500 breweries and even our own beer type.
This wonderful walk takes you past some beautiful key locations from the rich history of the city of Groningen (and the differences of opinion with the province, I will not go into that ;-))
This “beerwalk” is perfect for groups and includes a tasting of local beers at a special location.
Courtyards and History walk
Groningen has almost 30 beautiful courtyards, from the late Middle Ages to just before the Second World War.
During this walk, our heritage guide will take you through almost 800 years of social developments using our guesthouses.
What is the connection between these guesthouses and why Groningen and social democracy have such close ties?
